About the role
Liminal is looking for a Business Development Manager who is responsible for driving net new revenue by acquiring new automotive dealerships and dealer groups. This role owns the full sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery through demo, proposal, and close.
You will be on the front lines of growth, identifying high-value opportunities, educating prospects on Liminal's differentiated value, and closing new business that expands our footprint across the automotive market.
This is a true hunter role with clear quotas, strong upside, and a direct impact on company growth.
What you'll do
- Own and execute a new net logo acquisition strategy targeting automotive dealerships and dealer groups
- Build and manage a strong pipeline through outbound prospecting, inbound leads, and partner referrals
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations that connect Liminal's capabilities to dealership outcomes
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly new business quotas
- Collaborate with Customer Success and Account Management to ensure clean handoffs post-sale
- Maintain accurate pipeline, activity tracking, and forecasting in CRM
What You Need
- 3–7+ years of B2B SaaS sales or business development experience
- Proven success closing new net business with consistent quota attainment
- Experience selling to automotive dealerships, dealer groups, or adjacent industries strongly preferred
- Strong prospecting, discovery, and closing skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
- Comfortable selling value, ROI, and business outcomes
- Familiarity with dealership KPIs, lifecycle marketing, and attribution challenges
