The Dealer Pay marketing events planner is responsible for overseeing the entire process of planning and executing marketing events, from initial concept development to post-event analysis, ensuring events align with company marketing goals by managing budgets, selecting vendors, creating event agendas, disseminating information to team members, promoting the event through various channels, and tracking key metrics to measure success; requiring a blend of creativity, strong organizational skills, and project management abilities to deliver impactful experiences for the target audience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE
Concept development and strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm event ideas, define objectives, and develop a comprehensive event strategy aligned with brand messaging.
Budget management: Create and manage event budgets, negotiate contracts with vendors, and track expenses throughout the planning process.
Vendor selection and management: Identify and contract with appropriate vendors including venues, caterers, speakers, entertainment, and A/V providers.
Event logistics planning: Develop detailed event timelines, agendas, and run-of-show schedules, coordinating all logistical aspects like registration, attendee management, and on-site setup.
Marketing and promotion: Create and execute a marketing plan to promote the event across various channels including email, social media, website, and press releases.
Speaker coordination: Source, invite, and manage speakers, including coordinating presentations and rehearsals.
On-site event management: Oversee event execution on-site, ensuring smooth operations, addressing any issues, and maintaining quality standards.
Post-event analysis: Gather attendee feedback through surveys, analyze event data, and prepare comprehensive reports to evaluate the event's success and identify areas for improvement.

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 annually with bonus opportunites
