Sales BDC Manager

Preston Auto Group is looking for a motivated, results-driven Sales BDC Manager to build and lead our Sales BDC operation.

This is a working manager position. We are looking for someone who can personally produce at a high level while also hiring, training, and developing a team of two BDC Sales Representatives.

The primary focus of this position will be working our existing owner base and service customers through Mastermind to create sales opportunities, shorten the customer buying cycle, and help us sell customers their next vehicle before they defect to another dealership or brand.

Key Responsibilities

Personally make approximately 100 outbound calls per day
Target 8 appointments set per day
Target 4 appointment shows per day
Target 2 vehicle sales per day
Hire, train, coach, and manage two BDC Sales Representatives
Work our existing customer and owner base through Mastermind
Identify and contact lease customers approaching key points in their ownership cycle
Mine the service drive and convert service customers into sales opportunities
Identify customers who are in a strong equity position or may be ready to upgrade their current vehicle
Consistently work to shorten our customers' buying cycle and retain them within Preston Auto Group
Create appointments and opportunities for the sales team while providing a great customer experience
Provide backup and additional follow-up for internet leads, inbound phone opportunities, and unsold showroom traffic
Work opportunities that salespeople may not have the time or ability to consistently follow up with
Track calls, appointments, shows, sales, closing percentages, and overall BDC performance
Develop processes, scripts, and best practices that can be scaled as the BDC grows

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a hands-on leader who wants to produce, not simply manage from behind a desk.

The ideal candidate understands that our best source of future business is often the customers who already know us. The goal is to proactively identify when those customers may be ready for another vehicle rather than waiting for them to submit a lead or walk into the dealership.

Experience with automotive BDC, internet sales, CRM follow-up, Mastermind, equity mining, lease retention, or dealership sales is strongly preferred.

The right person should be comfortable on the phone, competitive, organized, accountable to daily activity goals, and capable of coaching others to achieve the same results.

Compensation

Compensation includes:

Competitive base salary
Tiered monthly bonus based on vehicle sales volume
Significant upside as the BDC grows and generates additional sales

This position is designed to reward both individual production and overall BDC performance.
