Partner & Head of Capital and Banking Relationships
Equity-Based | Platform-Level Economics | $500K++ Earning Potential
About OperatorX Capital (OXC)
OperatorX Capital is an execution-led platform built to reduce the primary failure point in dealership acquisitions: post-close execution and OEM risk.
We are not a broker. We are not a fund.
OXC aligns operators, capital, and ownership structures so deals perform after closing, not just on paper.
Our focus is disciplined, operator-led ownership supported by governance, OEM alignment, and capital that understands long-term automotive operations. This model is designed for durability, not deal velocity.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Partner & Head of Capital and Banking Relationships to own and lead all capital-facing activity across the OXC platform.
This is not an employee role.
This is a senior partner seat with equity ownership and platform-wide economics.
This role is designed for a top-tier independent sponsor, senior investment banker, or capital principal who wants to run a repeatable acquisition framework rather than chase one-off transactions.
Earning potential is $500K++ annually, driven by equity participation and participation in all platform economics, not just deals personally sourced.
Why This Is Different
Capital is not scarce in automotive retail.
Aligned capital is.
Dealership transactions often break down because:
- Operators lack true authority or ownership
- Governance erodes post-close
- Capital is structured for short-term optimization rather than durability
- OEM risk is underestimated
OXC solves this by aligning operator readiness, ownership structure, governance, and capital expectations before capital is deployed—and keeping that alignment intact after closing.
For the right partner, this is a repeatable deployment platform with long-term upside, not a transactional capital placement role.
Scope of Authority
As Partner & Head of Capital and Banking Relationships, you will:
Platform-Level Capital Leadership
- Own and lead all capital and banking relationships for OXC
- Represent the platform to family offices, private lenders, and relationship banks
- Help shape capital strategy, deployment frameworks, and partner alignment
Capital Integration & Scale
- Anchor and institutionalize family office and private capital relationships
- Build repeatable banking partnerships across acquisition financing and leverage
- Participate in all OXC transactions, regardless of origination source
Deal Participation
- Engage in structuring alongside operators and OXC leadership
- Support execution through closing and governance alignment
- Focus on quality, durability, and repeatability over volume
What You Will Not Do
- Recruit or manage operators
- Run dealership operations
- Push marginal deals to close
- Operate on an eat-what-you-kill model
This is a platform leadership role, not a production role.
Ideal Background
This role is intended for someone already operating at a high level.
Required:
- Senior experience in investment banking, independent sponsorship, private capital, or principal investing
- Direct, trusted relationships with family office principals, private lenders, and relationship banks
- Demonstrated judgment around downside protection and execution risk
- Comfort operating in an equity-based role with no salary
Strong Preference:
- Deep automotive retail experience OR closely related asset-heavy sectors
- (e.g., multi-site retail, real estate-backed operating businesses)
- Experience working through cycles and complex ownership structures
Economics & Earning Potential
- Equity ownership at the platform level
- Participation in all OXC economics, not just personally sourced deals
- Deal-level economics + long-term platform upside
- $500K++ annual earning potential for the right partner
- Compensation aligned with performance, durability, and scale
Who This Is For
This role is for someone who:
- Already has capital trust and credibility
- Wants to build and own a platform, not just place money
- Understands operator-led ownership and long-term alignment
- Values discipline, selectivity, and reputation over transaction count
Who This Is Not For
- Junior capital professionals
- Salary-oriented roles
- Pure sales or fundraising profiles
- Anyone looking for a quick carry without platform responsibility
