About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our team as a consultant and product advisor. This is not your typical consulting role – we're looking for someone who's been in the trenches, understands the real challenges of the service drive, and can help shape our AI solution to genuinely improve the lives of Service Advisors across the country.

We've spent months traveling across the country, from Detroit to San Francisco, Oklahoma to Mississippi, meeting Service Advisors and witnessing firsthand the challenges they face. We understand the reality of:
- 70+ hour work weeks
- Managing difficult customer interactions
- Balancing technician and management relationships
- Dealing with high-pressure environments and unrealistic expectations
Our mission is to give Service Advisors their time back and make their days less challenging. We're not just building technology – we're creating solutions that actually work for the people using them.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct feedback on product features and development priorities
- Share insights from real-world service drive experience
- Help identify pain points and opportunities for improvement
- Review and advise on new feature implementations
- Participate in product strategy sessions
- Contribute to the development of best practices
- Help ensure our solution serves Service Advisor needs

Job Requirements
- 4+ years experience as a Service Advisor
- Currently active in the service drive or recently departed
- Strong understanding of operations and technology in the service department
- Experience with various DMS systems and schedulers
- Ability to articulate common challenges and potential solutions
- Passion for improving the experience of Service Advisors
Nice-to-Haves
- Multiple dealerships/dealership group experience
- Background in training or mentoring other Service Advisors
- Experience with process improvement initiatives
- Access to various software products used by dealerships
- Network of current and former co-workers in automotive
Time Commitment
- Up to 10 hours per week, paid by the hour based on company needs
- Flexible scheduling to accommodate active Service Advisors
Location
Remote is great! We work from 7am in New York to 7pm in California. Our office is located in the Dogpatch neighborhood of San Fancisco. We would love to fly to you or have you visit our office seasonally.
