Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive partnerships with car rental companies and individuals engaged in vehicle rental platforms like Turo and Getaround. This role will focus on attracting these partners to Owntic to bid on vehicles listed by owners, helping to expand our network and enhance liquidity options for vehicle owners.
Responsibilities
Partnership Development: Identify and engage car rental businesses and individual vehicle operators on platforms such as Turo and Getaround, explaining the benefits of Owntic’s buy-and-rent-back model.
Strategic Onboarding: Guide potential rental partners through the onboarding process, ensuring they understand how to leverage our platform to expand their vehicle inventory cost-effectively.
Relationship Building: Establish long-term relationships with vehicle rental providers to ensure steady offers for owners on Owntic’s platform.
Market Insight: Utilize deep knowledge of the car rental industry to refine Owntic’s outreach strategy and expand our reach within the vehicle rental sector.
Performance Tracking: Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to monitor the performance and satisfaction of new partnerships, making adjustments as needed to maximize partner engagement.
Qualifications
Proven experience in the vehicle rental industry, preferably with hands-on knowledge of working with platforms like Turo, Getaround, or similar.
Strong business development and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with potential partners.
Strategic thinker with a track record of successful partnership building and client management in the vehicle sector.
Familiarity with fintech solutions and a passion for innovative financial models in asset management.
