A well-established, high-volume automotive dealership group is seeking an experienced and results-driven **General Manager / Managing Partner** to lead operations and drive continued growth in the Metro Atlanta area.
Position Overview
As General Manager / Managing Partner, you will have full P&L responsibility and operational leadership for a multi-franchise or high-volume single-point dealership. This is a key leadership role with significant equity/opportunity potential for the right candidate. The ideal leader will focus on maximizing profitability, elevating customer experience, building high-performing teams, and positioning the dealership for long-term success in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all dealership departments (Sales, Finance, Service, Parts, and Administration)
- Drive revenue growth across new/used vehicle sales, F&I, and fixed operations
- Maintain strong manufacturer relationships and achieve or exceed performance metrics
- Develop and execute strategic plans to increase market share and profitability
- Lead, mentor, and hold accountable the team of department managers and staff
- Ensure full compliance with all regulatory, safety, and manufacturer standards
- Champion a positive, customer-centric culture focused on retention and loyalty
Ideal Candidate Profile
-Minimum 5+ years of proven General Manager experience in a franchised automotive dealership (import or domestic)
- Demonstrated track record of strong financial performance, including CSI, sales volume, and profitability
- Deep expertise in modern sales processes, digital retailing, and fixed operations management
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- High integrity and a partnership-oriented mindset
- Relevant manufacturer certifications and/or ADP/CDK experience preferred
