We are searching for an experienced Marketing Manager to lead and execute marketing strategies for a large, high-volume group in the Los Angeles market. This role requires hands-on, internal dealership experience and a deep understanding of digital processes. The ideal candidate will be locally based and capable of collaborating closely with executive leadership, sales, and operations teams to drive measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that support sales volume, brand visibility, and digital retail performance
- Oversee digital marketing initiatives including paid media, SEO/SEM, website performance, lead generation, and online merchandising
- Partner closely with sales and digital sales teams to optimize the end-to-end digital customer journey
- Manage and analyze marketing performance metrics, lead quality, and conversion data to drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with store leadership and executive teams to align marketing initiatives with operational goals
- Manage vendor relationships, agency partners, and internal resources to ensure consistency and ROI
- Ensure marketing messaging, promotions, and campaigns align with dealership standards and compliance requirements
- Support CRM, digital retailing tools, and online sales platforms to improve customer engagement and close rates
- Stay current on automotive marketing trends, digital retail strategies, and competitive market activity
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an internal automotive dealership or large auto group marketing role (required)
- Strong working knowledge of the digital sales process, online lead management, and digital retailing platforms
- Experience managing high-volume, multi-rooftop marketing initiatives preferred
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret performance metrics and adjust strategy accordingly
- Excellent communication, organizational, and cross-functional leadership skills
- Experience working with CRM, website platforms, digital marketing vendors, and analytics tools
- Los Angeles–area candidates strongly preferred
