Toyota Service Manager | Southeast Michigan
A high-volume, well-established, and family-owned automotive group is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Toyota Service Manager to lead its service department operations. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing Service Department team in a high-volume Toyota dealership
- Oversee daily operations and ensure efficient workflow, productivity, and profitability
- Utilize CDK for service management, reporting, and operational efficiency
- Maintain strong relationships with the Fixed Operations Director and General Manager, aligning department goals with overall store performance
- Foster a positive culture of trust, engagement, and accountability within the service team
- Ensure the delivery of an exceptional customer experience while maintaining top-tier CSI scores
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement
- Drive growth through innovation - embracing change, implementing new ideas, and adapting to evolving business needs
- Recruit, train, and mentor service advisors and technicians to ensure professional growth and consistent performance
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer and dealership policies, procedures, and safety standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing a high-volume automotive service department (Toyota experience preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of CDK DMS and reporting tools
- Proven track record of achieving financial and customer satisfaction goals
- Growth-oriented mindset and comfortable with change and open to new ideas and processes
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and engage employees
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
