Commercial Truck Sales Manager
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Commercial Truck Sales Manager to lead our commercial truck sales department. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth in the commercial truck segment. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of commercial truck sales, fleet customers, and dealership operations, coupled with exceptional leadership and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to grow commercial truck sales and expand the dealership’s market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with fleet customers, business owners, and key commercial accounts.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze trends, and adjust strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals.
- Collaborate with finance, parts, and service departments to ensure a seamless customer experience and support overall dealership profitability.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer programs, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, and pipeline opportunities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial truck sales, preferably with a dealership or fleet sales background.
- Demonstrated success managing and developing a sales team.
- Strong knowledge of commercial truck products, fleet sales programs, and financing options.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze market data, set goals, and implement effective sales strategies.
- Proficiency in dealership management systems (DMS) and CRM software.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of dealership operations.
- Valid driver’s license; travel may be required for customer visits and industry events.
