Global Commercial Furnishings, providing commercial office furniture for auto dealerships, is hiring a driven Business Development Consultant for remote role based in Tampa or Orlando, Florida.
OPPORTUNITY
As our Business Development Consultant, use your energetic discipline to prospect new business and close opportunities with automotive dealerships. Grow market-share through new customer acquisition within multiple automotive brands. Target opportunities and set up meetings with key decision makers to perform needs analysis, scope project details, and coordinate with our sales executives and design teams. Cold calling, research, and data mining will round out your daily prospecting activities. Reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing, use your consultative skills to excel in a robust sales environment. A fragmented auto furniture industry is an unlimited growth opportunity for excellent income potential!
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Prospect Dealer Principals, General Managers, Service Directors, and CFOs using phone, email, social media platforms and publications.
· Qualify prospects, develop engagement, and pull the sales process through to Project Completion.
· Perform needs analysis, document scope and needs of the project opportunity and coordinate with our sales team.
· Expand market coverage by assessing existing auto dealers' capacity to grow and identify new dealership prospects.
· Utilize resources to create and negotiate competitive proposals for new projects, considering accurate cost and timeline concerns.
· Stay in touch with customers throughout the year and track activities with prospects and customers.
· Track sales activity through our CRM system.
SUCCESS FACTORS
· 2+ years of sales experience in the commercial furniture industry or selling to auto dealerships.
· Proven track record of consistent sales success.
· Prospecting and lead generation sales experience is a plus.
· Emotional Intelligence with natural ability to actively listen, identify needs, and develop relationships.
· Proficient and functional experience with CRMs.
· Driven with a burning desire to achieve and reach sales goals.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Global Commercial Furnishings will reward your sales talents with a competitive compensation plan (base + commission) with high income potential. Expected and achievable On Target Earnings (OTE) for your first year is $80K - $90K+ with strong upside potential in year two and beyond. You will also receive an attractive employee benefit package that includes medical and PTO.
