Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Automotive Sales Consultant to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automobiles, excellent communication skills, and a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for guiding customers through the vehicle purchase process while delivering an exceptional experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, both in-person and via phone or email
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable vehicles and financing options
- Demonstrate vehicle features and conduct test drives
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dealership inventory, promotions, and manufacturer programs
- Prepare and present pricing, trade-in, and financing information clearly
- Negotiate sales and close deals in a professional and transparent manner
- Complete all paperwork and documentation accurately and in compliance with dealership and legal requirements
- Follow up with prospective and existing customers to build strong relationships and encourage repeat business
- Meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to team goals
- Participate in ongoing training and development
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven sales or customer service experience (automotive experience preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Familiarity with CRM systems and dealership management software is a plus
