Role Description
The Account Manager position is a remote consultative, proactive engagement position with the primary responsibility of AutoAlert client retention, product consulting/training and success. The AutoAlert Account Manager is responsible for enhancing client knowledge and usage of the AutoAlert platform in a consultativeand empowered pro-active approach. Responsibilities will include but not limited to client retention, market growth, and maintaining strong relationships with your assigned dealer partners.

This is a fast-paced role that requires strong leadership, priority management, and interpersonal skills.Assume lead point of contact for dealership once a sale is closed “WON”
- Build relationships across key stakeholders within AutoAlert to achieve company OKR’s
- Build relationships across key stakeholders in the dealership including Dealer Principal (DP) and General Manager (GM)
- Development of AutoAlert/Pro Account Management process and future CAM’s
- Monitor dealership metrics, ROI reporting, and opportunities for AutoAlert utilization with the DP and GM demonstrating value of AutoAlert
- Consult and strategize with client leadership on a monthly basis
- Develop “Game Plan” with the DP/GM and dealership “champion” and coordinate meetings to ensure implementation and goals are being achieved
- Enhance client knowledge and usage of the AutoAlert/CXM program
- Hold dealerships accountable for utilization
- Ensure plans for AutoAlert training within the dealerships are completed and accounts are properly maintained at a level the dealerships expect
- Complete all relevant administration of paperwork and/or reports required by the dealership and in compliance with AutoAlert’s established policies and procedures
- Provide best practices and troubleshooting suggestions
- Educate and assist clients on how to properly utilize AutoAlert/CXM resources and guide customers to the appropriate location for training
- Ensure monthly Digital Portal engagement (with affiliated direct mail)
- Liaise with territory sales counterparts to identify new opportunities through organic referrals
- Other duties as assigned
Your Experience and ImpactMinimum 8+ years of high-level automotive experience is preferred
- Account Manager, CRM, Desking and AlertMiner experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Customer service/support experience preferred
- Strong computer software literacy
- Strong persuasive speaking skills, comfortable with public speaking to attract and engage training groups and sales demonstrations of high importance
- Demonstrated skill in accurate record keeping with strict attention to detail
- Demonstrated skill in articulating ideas clearly and effectively
- Must have excellent customer facing soft skills to interact with both internal and external customers
- Ability to gather and analyze information skillfully and can develop alternative solutions
- Demonstrates knowledge of market and competition
