Body Shop Manager

The Body Shop Manager is responsible for the overall daily operations of the shop, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction at the Cassill Collision Center in Cedar Rapids, IA.

Requirements:

Successfully generates and capture sales leads
Knowledge of the preparation, processing, and interpretation of repair orders
Knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques (manufacturing, paint finishes)
Ability to estimate the cost and pricing of required vehicle repairs and to train team members on this process.
Comprehensive understanding of new models and product enhancements as outlined in technical service bulletins and related sources
Ability to communicate with insurance services companies during the estimating process to ensure coverage of all necessary repairs
Supervise the Body Shop team members and continually seeks to enhance their performance and efficiency.
Ability to maintain quality control on Body Shop repairs
Adhere to safety guidelines per Safety Manager and regulatory requirements
Ability to develop competitive price structure for department
Ability to analyze profit-and-loss status and to price and plan jobs accordingly
Ability to work within Body Shop’s systems
Works closely with the dealership’s Sales and Fixed Operations Management
Develops plans for the department and monitors progress toward achieving departmental goals in the areas of excellent service and profitability.
Ability to meet and greet customers and to establish rapport
Leadership skills, including organizing and planning and interpersonal skills

Qualifications:

Body Shop knowledge and experience
Ability to prioritize and organize own and others’ work and time to meet deadlines and objectives
Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.

Pay Range:

$70k - $150K
