Account Manager - B2C

Remote (West Coast)

Mon., Tues., & Wed. 9 AM – 6 PM (PST)

Saturdays & Sundays 6 AM – 3 PM (PST)

Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated B2C Account Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers calling in to request quotes, schedule car shipments, and provide details to customers (consumers) for their vehicle transport needs. This position requires exceptional communication skills, a strong sales mindset, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume inbound call environment.

Key Responsibilities

Handle a high volume of inbound calls from individual customers nationwide regarding vehicle transportation services.
Must have prior experience working for an automotive transportation company and understand the process.
Serve as the main point of contact throughout the customer journey — from initial inquiry, quoting a price to booking car delivery.
Generate quotes, present pricing options, and close sales while delivering excellent service and building trust.
Proactively work with Customer Support by collaborating on shipment status, handling changes, and addressing any service concerns.
Educate customers on service options, delivery timelines, insurance, and company policies to ensure clarity and satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotes, and orders in the CargoTel system.
Collaborate closely with the operations and dispatch teams to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
Meet or exceed monthly sales targets, conversion goals, and customer satisfaction metrics.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in B2C account management, inside sales, or high-volume customer service (preferably in transportation, logistics, or related industries).
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals in an inbound sales environment.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with CRM platforms and call management tools.
High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
