We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Business to Business (B2B) Fleet and Commercial Truck Sales Representative to join our team in Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, with experience in the automotive industry, and a strong understanding of the needs of small and medium-sized businesses in sectors such as landscaping, agriculture, construction, plumbing, electrical services, property management, and other similar trade industries. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for prospecting, building relationships, and selling commercial trucks and fleet vehicles tailored to each customer's needs. This is a dynamic role that requires excellent customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to manage the full sales lifecycle from initial inquiry through delivery and beyond.
- Primary Responsibilities: Prospecting & Lead Generation:
- Develop and implement strategies to prospect and generate new business from small and medium-sized businesses in the Omaha and Lincoln region.
- Identify potential customers in sectors such as landscaping, agriculture, construction, plumbing, electrical, and property management.
- Utilize digital marketing and merchandising strategies to improve lead generation and customer acquisition.
- Needs Analysis & Solution Selling:
- Conduct thorough needs analysis with prospects to understand their business and fleet requirements.
- Use your technical knowledge to configure and recommend the ideal truck, ensuring that the vehicles meet the specific operational and technical specifications of the customer’s business.
- Sales Process Management:
- Oversee the entire sales process, from initial contact to the final sale and beyond.
- Provide accurate pricing, detailed product information, and financing options to customers.
- Prepare and present detailed proposals, ensuring all client needs are addressed.
- Order Fulfillment & Customer Service:
- Maintain close attention to detail during the order fulfillment process, ensuring accurate and timely tracking of orders.
- Liaise with the logistics and delivery teams to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Follow up with customers after the sale to ensure a positive experience, resolve any issues, and encourage repeat sales.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional products and services to help customers effectively manage their entire fleet.
- Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to foster long-term business partnerships.
- Regularly check in with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for improvement or further sales.
- Sales Reporting & Analysis:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and lead status using CRM tools.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market trends.
- Skills & Qualifications: Experience: 1-3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably within the automotive, fleet, or commercial truck sector.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industries such as landscaping, construction, plumbing, agriculture, and other trade services.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of truck specifications and the ability to perform needs analysis to configure custom solutions for clients.
- Customer Service: Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on building long-term relationships.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to manage complex orders, ensuring accuracy in product configurations and timely delivery.
- Digital Marketing Knowledge: Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and online lead generation techniques.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients and internal teams.
- Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve customer concerns quickly and efficiently.
