Position Overview
As the Market Sales Manager (MSM), you will play a key role in driving our growth by increasing vehicle sales volumes through our auction platform and boosting dealer rooftop penetration across the region. This high-impact, individual contributor role covers the full sales cycle—from prospecting and onboarding new dealers to negotiating deals that maximize the number of dealer vehicles transacted through our auction. Key ResponsibilitiesDrive Sales Growth
- Identify and acquire new dealers across the region to expand our network.
- Negotiate and close deals to maximize the volume of vehicles sold through Twin Cities Auctions.
- Meet and exceed sales target
Build & Maintain Relationships
- Develop strong, lasting relationships with dealers through regular in-person and virtual interactions.
- Act as a trusted partner and market subject matter expert, ensuring dealers remain engaged and motivated to maximize our platform.
CRM & Pipeline Management
- Utilize HubSpot to track leads, manage dealer relationships, and maintain an active sales pipeline.
- Provide accurate, timely reporting on sales activities, progress, and performance metrics.
Market Engagement
- Leverage your automotive industry knowledge to understand dealer needs and position Twin Cities Auctions as their go-to solution.
- Stay ahead of market trends and competitor offerings to continuously refine your sales approach.
QualificationsExperience
- Industry Background: Minimum of 5 years in the automotive industry (dealerships, auctions, or related fields), with a strong preference for auto auction experience.
- Sales Success: Proven track record in B2B sales, with experience acquiring new clients and driving sales growth.
- CRM Proficiency: Hands-on experience using CRM tools; proficiency with HubSpot is highly desirable.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Skills & Requirements
- Core Competencies: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-Starter: A results-oriented individual who is comfortable working independently in a dynamic startup environment.
- Industry Insight: Deep understanding of automotive sales and dealer operations.
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively across the region (up to 75% of the time) with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
