- Heavily involved in all aspects of the CRM.
- Establishes direct contact with prospective clients.
- Monitors inbound and outbound communication.
- trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all salespeople.
- Directs and schedules the activities of all department employees, always ensuring proper staffing.
- Ensuring that each customer is greeted as quickly as possible.
- Implements and maintains a prospect tracking and follow-up system.
- Help salespeople close deals when necessary.
- Communicate with new-vehicle and used-vehicle salespeople to ensure that dealership policies and procedures are understood and followed.
- Conduct sales training meetings as directed by the general manager.
- Communicates aggressive yet realistic monthly goals and objectives for individual salespeople and provides them with the support to meet these goals.
- Assists in the development of improvement programs for salespeople who are having difficulty reaching their objectives.
- Ensure salespeople maintain a high customer satisfaction rating.
- Recommend dismissal of any salesperson failing to meet dealership standards.
- Contact new owners within 24 hours of delivery to ensure complete satisfaction with the sales and delivery process. Address any concerns or complaints immediately.
- Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect vehicle sales.
- Maintains a professional appearance.
- Attend managers’ meetings as requested.
- Monitor and track F&I performance daily via the in and out log.
- Review finance opportunities with finance managers to look for areas of opportunity to increase gross profits.
- Coach and train finance managers in best practices in order to improve product penetration and gross profit.
- Monitor bank programs monthly to increase profit and approval potential.
