The Internet Sales Manager will interact with hundreds of customers – via chat/email/text, over the phone, in-person, and online – building rapport and guiding customers with the goal of scheduling them to come to the dealership to meet with a sales professional.
Responsibilities
+ You will oversee a team of automotive sales professionals, having outlined an effective lead management process, including telephone up and chat handling.
+ You will ensure that all leads are responded to in a timely fashion, that customers’ questions get answered, and that they get the information they request.
+ You will train salespeople on how to ask the right questions via text, email, chat and over the phone, while listening to the customer’s needs and wants – with the end goal of setting sales appointments for an exceptional in-store experience.
+ The Internet Sales Manager will ensure that salespeople aggressively follow-up with unsold showroom traffic, telephone ups, internet leads, chats, and service upgrade opportunities.
+ You will track Internet lead and telephone-up performance with detail and accuracy, so that all opportunities are maximized.
+ You will ensure that the CRM is fully utilized, with detailed, accurate call logging and notes.
+ You will oversee Internet sales professionals’ prospecting activities, while training and coaching.
+ You will produce Internet lead performance reports and achieve targeted benchmarks for appointments set, appointments shown, appointments confirmed, and lead source closing rates.
+ You will listen to telephone calls and coach salespeople on proper word tracts, designed to maximize the number of customers that commit to an appointment and show up at the dealership.
+ You will not hesitate to pick up the phone and speak with a customer directly and to confirm scheduled appointments.
