Dr. Kelly J. Faucette is a U.S. Army Colonel and medical professional and author who dedicated his life to sharing the human aspects of warfare through his service in the Iraq War. He worked at a combat support hospital in Iraq where he witnessed acts of courage and compassion and received touching messages from injured soldiers and their families and from Iraqi civilians. This experience led him to focus on preserving these voices while demonstrating themes of military leadership and resilience and gratitude in wartime situations.
